INSTRCUTIONS AUX AUTEURS

MANUSCRITS

 La revue CIEC/ IJCS ne publie que les contributions originales qui n’ont pas été publiées ailleurs, tant en format papier que sur Internet. Les manuscrits doivent être soumis par courriel en utilisant les formats standard (de préférence Microsoft Word) avec la police «Times New Roman ». Les auteurs doivent garder une copie du texte soumis.
Il est de la responsabilité des auteurs de ne soumettre que des textes bien relus et corrigés afin de faciliter la tâche aux rédacteurs.
La première page doit contenir le titre de l’article, le nom de l’auteur et son genre (le nom de famille doit s’écrire en lettres capitales), l’adresse géographique et le courriel. Cette page doit inclure le domaine de recherche couvert par l’article. Elle doit aussi comprendre ce qui suit :

* un descriptif de 150 mots
* au moins cinq (05) mots-clefs
* une brève biographie de l’auteur (son affiliation académique et ses intérêts de recherche)

La seconde page doit comprendre le titre de l’article et le début du texte.

*Les manuscrits ne doivent pas excéder 6000 mots, y compris les espaces interlignes.

NOTES DE BAS DE PAGE
Les auteurs doivent utiliser les notes de bas de page à être insérée dans le texte de façon consécutive, et ce, grâce à la fonction d’insertion automatique de notes de bas de page (Menu Insertion / Référence / Note de bas de page). Les remerciements doivent être déclinés par un astérisk (*) et doivent précéder les notes de bas de page.

REFERENCES & BIBLIOGRAPHIE
Les références bibliographiques doivent êtres cites dans le texte selon le modèle standard de citations, (ex. Richards 1989: 233-4), ou bien “…concernant la culture ibo, Yidana (1988:26) écrit que …” La liste des références bibliographiques doit être présentée dans un ordre alphabétique selon le format suivant :

Toutes les références dans le texte doivent correspondre aux informations bibliographiques dans la liste des références bibliographiques. Il faut éviter de lister les publications ou les sources d’informations qui ne sont pas dans le corps du texte.

TABLEAUX, CARTES ET REPRODUCTIONS
Ceux-ci doivent pouvoir être contenus sur la page sans encombrements. Ils doivent être identifiés ou numérotés en chiffres arabes dans le corps du texte.

COMPTE-RENDUS (CR)

La présentation du titre du compte-rendu (CR) doit être comme suit :

Prénom, NOM de l’auteur de l’ouvrage/article en question, Titre et le cas échéant sous-titre de l’ouvrage/article, Lieu d’édition, Maison d’édition (Série, tome), Année de parution, Longueur (par ex. XIII + 345 pages + CD-Rom).

Le numéro de pages du texte dont on rend compte doit être mentionné entre guillemets sans le « p. ». Les références bibliographiques à d’autres ouvrages peuvent être placées directement dans le texte du compte-rendu ou, ce qui est préférable, dans des notes de bas de page. Elles suivent les mêmes indications bibliographiques que le texte d’un article.
Les références aux scènes de film doivent inclure le nom du directeur du film, le film et la minute précise de la scène. Exemple : (Ouédraogo, Djanta 8’).
Le nom de l’auteur du CR apparaît à la fin du compte-rendu sous la forme suivante :

POLITIQUE EDITORIALE
La réception des manuscrits par les rédacteurs sera notifiée aux auteurs par courriel. Aussi, les manuscrits seront-ils évalués par au moins deux rédacteurs pour donner enfin une décision de publication or de rejet de la contribution.

Nota Bene: Les contributions qui ne seront pas en conformité avec la politique éditoriale ci-dessus mentionnées seront purement et simplement rejetées.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR AUTHORS

MANUSCRIPTS

 CIEC/IJCS only publishes original papers that have not been published elsewhere in paper format or on the Internet. Manuscripts are to be submitted electronically as an email attachment, written with one of the standard text editors (preferably Microsoft Word and using Times New Roman). Keep a copy of the manuscript for your own reference.
It is the author’s responsibility to ensure that the manuscript is written in a correct language. The editor’s task will be very much slowed whenever he has to take responsibility for language correction.
The first page should have the title of the article and the name and sex of the writer(s) (family name in capital letters), full mailing address and correct email address. It should also indicate clearly the field of study covered by the paper. It should also be inclusive of the following:

* an abstract of NOT MORE than 150 words,
* keywords (five maximum),
* a brief description of the author (including academic affiliation and research interests).

The second page should contain the title of the paper and the start of the main text.
Manuscripts should normally not exceed 6,000 words, spaces included.

FOOTNOTES
Authors should exclusively use footnotes, which should be numbered consecutively throughout the text. Acknowledgements should be marked by an asterisk (*) and they should precede the footnotes.

REFERENCES
References should be cited in the text according to the standard citation system, e.g. (Richards 1989: 233-4), or « … concerning the culture of the Ibo, Yidana (1988: 26) stated…” The list of references or bibliography should be presented in alphabetical order according to the following format:

Please make sure that all references in the text have corresponding bibliographical information in the list of references. Please, do not list any publication or sources that are not referred to in the body of the text.

TABLES, FIGURES AND MAPS
These should be planned to fit into the page without crowding. They should be identified by an Arabic numeral and they should be included in the text manuscript itself.

BOOK/FILM REVIEWS

The format of the Book Review essays should be as follows:  

The first and last name (capitals) of the author of the book reviewed. The tile of the book, place of publication, house of publication, year of publication, length of the book (e.g. XIII, 345pp + CD).

The page numbers of the book reviewed should be referenced without the abbreviation “p.”, but instead between brackets as follows: [445], [LXXI] or [71-81].
References to others books may be directly acknowledged in the body of the review, or by way of footnoting. They follow the same bibliographical referencing as in regular articles (see above). Referencing film scenes should include the director’s name, the film and the timing. E.g.: (Ouédraogo, Djanta 8’).
The name of the author of the review should appear at the end of the review as follows:

EDITORIAL PROCEDURE
Receipt of manuscripts will be acknowledged. Manuscripts will be evaluated by at least one reader other than the Editor, and a decision on publication will be made accordingly.

Note: Papers not in compliance with the above-mentioned requirements will not be considered.
